1/72 Royal Navy Deck Hatch Set (with Blast Plates) x18. This set contains assorted Royal Navy 20th Century Deck Hatches with Blast Plates as shown in the plans of Norman Ough. These Hatches were used on the Weatherdeck where Wooden Decks were fitted close to weapons, the Blast Plates were to prevent the wooden deck lifting when guns were firing.
